Official Statement

Unfortunately, the event team are forced to postpone Mercer Surrey Half Marathon, due to take place on Sunday 07th March 2021. When we opened for entry back in September, we were hopeful that the national Coronavirus situation would be improved by March. However, following the news that the UK would be entering a second lockdown, the local authorities have recommended that we postpone the event. The event team have exhausted all other possibilities with the local authorities, before coming to this conclusion.

NEW provisional date

The new provisional Mercer Surrey Half Marathon date is Sunday 12th September 2021. All participants have been informed of the new date, via email and are automatically registered to participate.

Following the recent news that a covid-19 vaccine might be available in the second part of 2021, we are hopeful that the event will go ahead on this date. Any changes to the new date will be communicated to all participants well in advance.
